I’ve chased meaningful work through real jobs: movie theater concessions, AT&T, restaurant shifts, Starbucks, car sales. Then the Navy sharpened discipline, teamwork, and ownership. After separating, I moved through HR/hiring and then into healthcare: CNA → ER RN → home health → OR → cardiology.

Through watches and long shifts, coffee was the steady thing—quick cups between jobs, ritual brews after duty, and that French press that cut through post-shift fog. Not just caffeine: comfort, control, and a small daily win.
