30 days in a whiskey barrel. Then roasted.
DRUNKEN SAILOR starts as a washed Guatemala single origin from Huehuetenango — sourced from 400 small family farms, processed through Unitrade's centralized wet mill. The sourcing cooperative funds CoffeeCare, a program supporting education, nutrition, and health for producers' families.
After green processing, the coffee ages 30 days in a whiskey barrel before roasting. The result: lemon, lime, nougat, and brown sugar — with medium body and the subtle warmth of the barrel underneath. It's not a gimmick. The barrel aging works.
Built for people who want something genuinely different — whiskey drinkers, gift buyers, and anyone tired of picking between the same five roasts.
