I'm very picky when it comes to coffee, I know my tastes and I know what I don't like. Flavored coffee is a no for me, which is why Drunken Sailor caught my eye. It's not flavored, it's bourbon barrel aged, and if there's one thing I love as much as coffee, it's bourbon. That being said, this is not a go to morning coffee for me, however, it would be amazing with a little bourbon cream and a splash of my favorite bottled in bond! It's not my favorite coffee but that doesn't mean I don't like it!

Joaquin, appreciate the detailed report. Drunken Sailor is definitely a different animal from flavored coffee, so I’m glad the barrel-aged character is what caught your attention. Totally fair that it isn’t your everyday morning cup. The bourbon cream pairing sounds like a solid off-watch move. Thanks for giving it a fair shake.

I was pleasantly surprised by this coffee. The Whiskey notes are so subtle but it has that familiar warmth of a shot of whiskey. It's so good! Highly recommend.
